Morning Services

Every Sunday at 10:30am.
All welcome.

The Service comprises sung worship, prayers and Bible readings, some encouraging words from the leader / speaker and often some quiet reflection or meditation. During our Sunday morning service we share bread and wine as the Lord Jesus commanded; to celebrate his resurrection and our place as part of his body: the church. Our practice is that, to share the bread and wine, you are a member of The Bethel or wider Christadelphian community, having made a commitment to a belief in Jesus as Lord having been baptised into his name as an adult.

All services on Sunday mornings are recorded and added to the podcast for people that can't attend the service in person.

There is a créche available during the Sunday morning services.

Church notices and announcements for what is happening in the week are also given on Sunday mornings.

Evening Services

Every Sunday at 6:00pm

The Sunday evening service has a varied format; it usually lasts for about an hour and can include sung praise, prayers, readings, talks, presentations, discussion and other relevant activities. The services are given by the members of the church in Manchester or by members of other Christadelphian churches. The subjects covered by the evening services aim to give clear bible teaching about God, Jesus, the Bible and what they all say and how that is relevant to us today. Teaching is for both those who have not yet fully committed themselves to Jesus but want to know more, and for people who have been followers of Jesus for a long time.

Youth Church

We currently combine some of our Youth Church with our main service - junior classes join in with the whole church in the morning service, before heading out to their classes about 10:45am; we encourage our older younger people (from Year 7 upwards) to join with us in the morning service. The senior classes meet Sunday afternoon 2-3pm.
